THE BEST OF 2016 BOW TIE COLLABORATIVE
Whew! I finally finished this post! It’s been in my post log for the past 2 weeks and I’ve slowly been putting it together. Telling myself I had until about mid-January to publish anything related to 2016. Right?! A few week grace period?! 😉 
2016 was a big year for me, both personally and in business. Our business has done incredible things for us this year and we are so grateful. My little photography business grew to the point where I was able to resign from my job as a critical care nurse after 8 years of practice. It has been about 9 months since I’ve been full-time Bow Tie and I couldn’t be happier. Personally, let’s see..it was a pretty loaded year! First, 6 days into the New Year of 2016 I got to meet my idol, Katelyn James, and during a mentoring session with her, Bill proposed. Talk about surprised! Holy smokes. I still can’t get over it. Shortly after that, we began to plan our wedding and spent 9 months planning our destination wedding in Turks and Caicos. We also closed on our first home together and the home projects started out the wazoo! 
To all of our 2016 wedding couples: thank you. Thank you for trusting us to document the biggest day of your life. Thank you for investing in us. Thank you for opening your hearts up to us and allowing us to feel like family. All of you, in the images above, are the reason we create, the reason we feel passion and the reason we grow. You have given us the greatest opportunity of our lifetime and we are so, humbly, thankful.
