Happy Thursday Friends! I am thrilled to share the BEAUTIFUL wedding of Whitney and David! A little something to take your mind off of the hurricane headed this way! Whitney and David made it official at The Pavilion at Carriage Farm in Raleigh, NC. It is the first time we have shot there and we already can’t wait to shoot there again! The Pavilion is full of natural light and classic elegance!

Tell us about your dress. Did you get it from a bridal boutique? Who designed it?

Stella York dress from New York Bride and Groom. It is tighter from the waist up and has off the shoulder sleeves. Flares out at the bottom with a train. Floor length veil.

Do you have anything unique planned for your wedding day?

Something that I think is super special and unique about my wedding day is that my mom is giving me away and walking me down the aisle.

Do you plan on seeing each other before the wedding? Why or why not?

We gave it lots of thought on whether to do a “first look” or not, but after thinking through it more and more, we decided not to. David said that he wants that “wow” moment when he sees me for the first time to be when the doors open and I come down the aisle.

How would you describe the overall vibe or theme of your wedding? What colors will your bridal party be wearing?

The overall theme of the wedding is considered to be southern but definitely classy. Our venue shows that perfectly, as well as my dress and all the aspects that are going to my wedding. The color that my bridal party is wearing is a French lilac.
