Katie and Steven are engaged to be MARRIED!! Next October…The Mint Museum in Charlotte…EPIC! Katie, Steven and I go WAY back…like 15 years back! (Are we really that old?) We were all high school friends and had so many good times together. When Katie reached out to me about shooting her wedding I was SO pumped! I’ve said it before, but reasons like this are the #1 greatest thing about this business. Reconnecting – reminiscing – envisioning – exploring – creating – that’s the best! As we have all noticed, we now live in Seattle, so scheduling outdoor shoots this fall has been…interesting. We rescheduled and rescheduled and then finally decided to go for it. Freedom Park in CLT was awesome…I can only imagine what it would have been like on a sunny day! We had fog, drizzle, wetness and all around yucky weather…but we did it! Katie and Steven were troopers (even though we were all soaked by the end of it) and totally up for anything. You guys are so perfect for each other and I’m so excited to be on this journey with you!
