Happy First Birthday to Charlotte!
It was a year and a half ago, but it feels like yesterday when I first met Charlotte’s parents Ashley and Shayne. They brought their two spunky English Bulldogs to have Christmas card photos taken at our backyard Christmas tree farm! Charlotte was also in attendance, still in Ashley’s belly!
Fast forward to a few weeks ago at Duke University. This beautiful baby is already ONE! We have had the great privilege of documenting her first shoot in FIVE different sessions! haha, Mama Ashley loves her pictures and I can totally relate!! They change so fast and having so many images of her first year is such a treasure. She has become a total pro in front of the camera, and is easily one of the most cooperative and happy babies we have photographed!
This sweet girl loves to clap and wave! She was totally hammin’ it up, and all of the students and staff passing by on Duke’s campus fell in love with her! How could you not??
I love the way Shayne lights up around his girl. You could see their bond so clearly and it was beyond adorable!
I’m pretty sure miss Charlotte was feeling sassy in her pink dress! How cute is that little couch?! Shayne had to lug that thing up campus from the car but y’all – – – wasn’t it totally worth it? Haha, so adorable!
Sweet girl loved all that sugar!! 
What a joy to spend the afternoon with this family! Charlotte had us all wrapped around her little cake covered finger! I can’t wait to make more memories with Shayne, Ashley, Charlotte and baby #2! – coming soon! Spoiler alert: they are having another GIRL!! Xo, Allison
