We couldn’t be more EXCITED to introduce you to the new Mr. + Mrs. Lewandowski!

The Bradford | New Hill NC Wedding | Erin + Ryan

When we asked Erin how they met, she told us, “by the grace of God”. She felt that it was simply God’s plan to bring them together. Ryan was a cowboy from Wyoming going to school at the Naval Academy and she was a simple girl from North Carolina. Their chances of meeting were slim to none but God knew they were meant for each other.

Through mutual friends at the Naval Academy, they began talking and getting to know each other from the simple trivial things to their deepest secrets. After meeting at the Navy v. Duke football game they continued to write letters to one another throughout the year. People may have thought she was crazy to fly all the way to Wyoming to spend New Years together but she knew Ryan was someone special she had to give a chance. She was sure glad she took that risk because January 1, 2014 was the day they started their life together as boyfriend and girlfriend.

As the years continued, they took advantage of every break they could to drive six hours or fly across country to see each other. Erin and Ryan have shared countless adventures together and she said she would not trade them for any thing!  As Ryan said to her on March 18, 2017, “I can’t promise you that our life will always be without storms, but I can promise that I will always be by your side to weather those storms.” As everyone knows, marriage is not always easy but with the right person by your side, you can weather any storm. We couldn’t agree more Ryan!

We asked the one thing that they loved most about each other and they told us! Erin loves how Ryan always treats her like a princess and Ryan loves how much Erin supports him. They are the sweetest!

How did Ryan propose? Well, what she thought would be a normal day shopping with her twin sister and best friend turned out to be the day she would become Ryan’s fiancée! She found out that Dana and Ryan had been planning a surprise proposal for months leading up to the day he asked her to be his wife on Wrightsville Beach. Erin was so surprised to see Ryan standing on the beach when she had just been talking to him that morning about his plans to work all day. She was more surprised that these two were able to keep this a secret for months! She even admitted her cheeks hurt from smiling so much that day!

We asked this them what made them choose their wedding venue and what special touches they added to capture their personalities. They told us they loved the vintage feel the Bradford gives them! Erin and Ryan love to go antique shopping together and the Bradford is the perfect combination of vintage and classic style for their wedding. They had Sweet Water Italian Ice for the cocktail hour and they served it from a fun bike cart. They also had vintage plates and glasses for the sweet heart table. A beautiful sewing table that her Dad restored for family photos was another great touch!
