Oh, be still, my heart. My good friends, Clif and Kimmy, are now mama and daddy! I feel so proud. I’m not sure why, call me a sap, but watching my friends become parents is one of the coolest things ever. Maybe it’s because I’m a mama too – watching my girlfriends join me in the mama club fills my heart up so much! Sweet newborn baby cuteness, perfect toes, and a gorgeous classic inspired nursery…oh, and mama and daddy – they are pretty cute too! 🙂 As a family of now 3….meet the Walden family and their adorable new addition – Clifton Keith III. Little baby Clif gave his mommy and daddy a little surprise and entered this world a week before his due date! Sure, that doesn’t sound like much, but as a first time mom you almost always hear your entire pregnancy “you will be late, so get ready”. So when baby boy makes his arrival even 7 days earlier than expected, it puts you into high gear!!
Oh yes, baby boy, you were certainly worth the wait.
Sweet baby Clif was perfect for us our entire shoot. He was such a sleepy head and that is just how we like ’em! 
Just running a business while taking newborn photos, no biggie, no biggie.

I think I LOVE (wait, did I say that?) newborn lifestyle sessions. For sure all things wedding have my heart, but this new avenue of photography is quickly growing on me. I think because what I love about weddings – capturing the love, the raw emotion and spontaneous moments, happens in a lifestyle session too. Documenting life as it happens is for sure my greatest joy.
