North Carolina Art Museum Engagement Session | Jordan + Chris
Ahhh, Y’all, I am SO EXCITED to share another awesome Engagement Session with you tonight! Let me introduce you to Jordan and Chris, another one our gorgeous 2018 wedding couples! I know I say it ALL the time, but we have the most INCREDIBLE clients!! Their wedding at Merrimon-Wynne House is going to be AMAZING!
Saturday was a Spring like day and love was definitely in the air! The flowers were blooming the birds were singing. We had a great time walking around and photographing these two! We started our day at the N.C. Museum of Art and then moved on to some fun urban shots in Downtown Raleigh. What a great day!
How did they meet you ask?
Jordan told us that they worked for the same company back in Atlanta but they worked in separate offices. They would see each other at market events from time to time but both of them were seeing other people. She eventually left the company after some time (She has actually returned now) and they ended up hanging out at a friend’s rooftop. He will tell you that he fell in love with her the moment she schooled some guys on football knowledge that day 🙂 Later that day they ordered some pizza (who doesn’t order pizza after day drinking) and that’s when he REALLY fell in love with her, after watching her take down two slices of pizza turned sandwich with garlic sauce in the middle. That’s when she stole a piece of his heart 😉 She has been inseparable ever since.
Jordan told us that, Chris proposed on Feb. 1st 2017 at Capital Grill in Atlanta, GA. That night she thought she was meeting her best friend for an early birthday dinner because she was going to be out of the country for the true day. She met her friend, Pree for dinner and just as they began enjoying their first drink; out comes Chris behind her with a huge bouquet of flowers. As you can imagine with an entire restaurant watching, she quickly blacked out but he remembers every word and loves to recite it :)! Isn’t that the cutest!
Chris and Jordan are total opposites but could not be more in love and boy does it show. They are so thankful they get to share each day with their best friend because they enjoy making as they call it “colorful life experiences” together!
