Surprise Engagement Proposal | Jordan Lake Tree Farm | Kristyn + Kim
Gahhhh!!! This was the most fun!! I am so excited to share this amazing surprise proposal with you today! It is not very often we are asked to be part of such a beautiful and intimate moment. It was so fun to have the proposal and then go right into the engagement session!
Kristyn reached our to me weeks ago with her surprise proposal plan and I couldn’t have been more thrilled. She had so many great ideas and we were able to put together the perfect plan! I told her all about how my husband’s proposal was also a surprise photo shoot! Kristyn had the perfect spot in mind- the Jordan Lake Christmas tree farm. Kristyn was able to convince Kim that they needed to have professional portraits done for their Christmas card this year and the tree farm was a natural location. They had talked about marriage but Kim had no idea that it was going to happen that day!
When we showed up at the Christmas tree farm, Bill and I were as nervous as Kristyn -seriously..we were joking about who would throw up first. LOL! Bill was in charge of holding the ring so that Kim didn’t accidentally notice before Kristyn was able to get into position. The pass off of the ring was a success while I was distracting Kim with individual shots. Kristyn was so ready! The anticipation was almost too much to bare! LOL Then she got down on one knee and it was time to have Kim turn around….these pictures really are worth a thousand words! Oh, and SHE SAID YES! <3 <3
It was so fun to have the proposal and then go right into the engagement session!
We couldn’t be happier for these two beautiful women and we were really honored to be a part of their special day! We can’t wait for our next surprise proposal session!! The BEST day!! <3
