Hii Friends!! We are switching things up a bit this week and sharing this Chapel Hill, North Carolina Wedding on Wednesday instead! Get excited!!
We couldn’t be happier to introduce you to Jenny and Stewart! Aren’t they the sweetest?!? They Tied the Knot last weekend in traditional Carolina style – Carolina Blue all the way! Their beautiful southern wedding took place in The Great Room at The Top of the Hill restaurant, also known affectionately as TOPO. This unique venue space once occupied by the legendary Carolina Theatre offered beautiful exposed brick and a soft industrial feel for the backdrop of their ceremony and reception. It was an intimate and darling wedding day!
Top of the Hill was an obvious choice for Jenny and Stewart because they both went to Chapel Hill and continue to be Carolina fans. Chapel Hill is special to both of them!
How did they met?
Jenny and Stewart technically met at the gym, although they both work at Duke and have a lot of mutual friends!
We had to ask how Stewart proposed, this is what Jenny told us…
“We were in Charleston, SC for a friends wedding. He used to live in Charleston so its a special place for him. We spent the morning driving around so he could show me where he lived, went to grad school, used to hang out, etc. Then we stopped to walk around Waterfront park, and we walked over to one end of the pier where there was no one else. He got down on one knee and proposed! It was perfect!”
These two were made for each other and we were honored to capture their special day!! Jenny and Stewart we wish you a long happy life together! XO
