DOWNTOWN APEX ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS
It’s WEDNESDAY!! The Wednesday before CHRISTMAS DAY! Are y’all excited?! This girl is!! We are 4 days a way and I can hardly wait!! I’m also super excited for y’all to meet another one of our awesome 2017 wedding couples! Carmen and Chip! When Carmen called me back in the summer to talk all things weddings and inquire if we were still available for her date, I instantly hoped we could work together because we just couldn’t stop talking! I felt like Carmen was my long lost BFF and we had years of catching up to do! We couldn’t hardly get off the phone that day and I’m SO glad to be a part of their wedding planning this year! Only 5 more months to go!!

After we walked around downtown Apex for a bit we headed over to the farm where Carmen and Chip plan to say I do! I’m so excited to shoot out here in May…this is just the cutest little farm in Holly Springs! 
Once we got out here, Carmen thanked me for allowing the dogs to be a part of this. I said “duh! of course!” She then went on to tell me that it was super special to get some photos of Isabelle because they were going to have to put her down…tomorrow morning. My heart instantly sank and I had all kinds of butterflies and pain for them. I have to be honest, it was hard looking in sweet Isabelle’s eyes taking her photo knowing these were her last few hours with her sweet family. I totally could have burst into tears, but we were upbeat and laughing, and I was trying to focus on focusing (ha!) and not what was about to happen the next day. I’m so glad we were able to get these photos…and Carmen and Chip, I hope you will always remember your sweet girl in these sweet moments.
