Can you believe it is already Thursday?! This month is just flying by! We are so excited to share with you, Shea and Jeff’s AMAZING engagement session!! Corks were poppin’ as we photographed this sporty and adventurous couple at the gorgeous Historic Oak View Park! Shea and Jeff will “Tie the Knot” next May at The Oaks at Salem in Apex, NC, and we CAN. NOT. WAIT!
Shea is from New Jersey and Jeff is from Massachusetts! They met at college in Lancaster, PA where Jeff played lacrosse and Shea played basketball! Their active college days definitely stuck with them after they graduated in 2014 and they love to do anything outside! Jeff and Shea have enjoyed stepping outside of their comfort zone and moving to a few new cities (states really!) over the past three years. Jeff has just finished his time in the Army (3.5 years) and they are venturing into civilian life for the first time together!
After college, Jeff joined the Army, which allowed them to venture together to Fort Benning, GA. They moved to Fort Bragg in the Fall of 2016. Two months later, Jeff deployed to Iraq for 9 months. A few months after Jeff came home, they got engaged in Massachusetts. They are about to move from Fort Bragg to Raleigh next week! Although their time in the Army has come to an end, it has had such an impact on their lives and who they are not only as a couple but also as individuals and they would love to find any unique or small ways to represent that in our wedding.
We asked Shea and Jeff about their love story, and this is what they told us!
We met our freshman year of college! We were introduced by mutual friends at a formal…7 years later we are engaged and excited to continue our journey together as husband and wife so soon!
