North Carolina Art Museum Engagement Session | Raleigh NC | Lindsey + David
Hi Friends! I am so excited to share with you this amazing engagement session with Lindsey and David!! We started in downtown Raleigh and ended up at the North Carolina Art Museum. It was a gorgeous day of smiles, laughs, kissing and of course poppin’ the champs!!
These two foodies were made for each other and along with their passion for their cats, Simba and Prim, they also love cooking together and football Sundays!
We asked Linsday how she and David met and this is what she shared with us.
They were set up on a blind date by her best friend, Colleen Fleming. They met at Boxcar Bar and Arcade on July 27, 2017. Then they ended up standing at the table in front of Boxcar and talked for several hours. David still wouldn’t let her win when they played a racing game with each other – he crashed her right at the finish line!
Of course, we needed to know how he proposed!
They went to D.C. on September 13, 2019. Their official dating anniversary is September 5 and her birthday is September 19. Lindsey and David wanted to celebrate both events so they planned a weekend getaway in D.C. He ended up surprising her by taking her to a Michelin Star restaurant, Fiola, that Friday night. Poor guy had to sit on the ring for an entire 5-course meal – when the waiter served dessert, he asked for her to take a picture. He had the phone set to video and she started recording as he proposed. She told us it was a great way to end a great meal.
