THE OAKS AT SALEM | APEX WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Last weekend we had a super cool opportunity to be a part of a new event at The Oaks at Salem – one of my favorite venues in the triangle! The team at The Oaks put on their first ever Express Wedding. Uhhh, what’s that? The goal of this event was to show brides a quick rundown of how a wedding ceremony and reception would go so they could get a better idea of the space and flow for their own wedding day. SUPER COOL. Can we start a new trend here and have all wedding venues do this!? We went through all the big events from the ceremony, cocktail hour, dances, toasts and ended with a sparkler exit! We did all of this in under 2 hours, so it was like a real wedding day only done in a flash. Brilliant!! The wedding party was made up of family and friends that volunteered to help out and the bride and groom were so cute – having only met 10 minuets before the ceremony! haha!
All the vendors that participated in this event were super awesome and I’m secretly hoping to work with all of them again! Everything looked beautiful and it was awesome to collaborate together to better serve our clients and show them what a real wedding day at The Oaks would be like!
