OMGahhhh I am so glad to have a working blog and to share this wedding!! My new website and blog migration took A LOT longer than I was expecting, so I haven’t been able to share Lauren and We’s wedding day until now!
Anyway, we are up and running and I’m so excited this is my first post on my NEW blog!! What do y’all think of it?!
You may remember Lauren and Wes from their engagement session last year on UNC campus. These are are SO totally awesome and rock my socks off! And, now after meeting their families and friends, I totally see why! Lauren and Wes met at UNC and so it only made sense that their wedding would be all things Carolina! Including their reception at The Blue Zone in Kenan Stadium…sooo cool! I loved the vibe and the openness to this space – not to mention the wall of windows looking onto the football stadium!
Wes’s wedding band has Lauren’s thumbprint on the inside. I freaking love this!!
Lauren and her dads first look had us ALL in tears. Such precious moments!

I get questions ALL the time about the number of bridesmaids/groomsmen one has…does it have to be equal…can we have more girls than guys…I want it to look good for photos…what do I do? My answer is ALWAYS the same…it does. not. matter! Out of her 8 bridesmaids, she had 6 brides-men! haha! I love it! So for those wondering about this…make these decisions based on your relationships and not what it “looks like” to others.
