The Oaks at Salem Weddings | Apex, NC | Hannah + Mike
Two wedding posts in one week?! Yeah!! I am so excited to share Hannah and Mike’s gorgeous wedding with you! We are back at the beautiful The Oaks at Salem in Apex, NC! I am sure you know by now this one of our FAVORITE wedding venues!! It is such a beautiful venue and the colors at Oaks at Salem in the Fall are really spectacular! Hannah and Mike love North Carolina in the fall too! Apex is Hannah’s hometown and they wanted all of their family and friends to see and experience a little piece of the south in one of the prettiest times of the year.
Hannah and Mike met at the University of Delaware, where they were on the swim team together. After being friends, they eventually started dating. The rest is history! We could tell immediately that this beautiful couple was meant to be! <3 <3
Hannah and Mike’s dogs were part of the bridal party and they definitely were a huge hit! They even managed to make it down the aisle although they did take the opportunity to greet and lick all the guests they could! LOL! Anytime you see dogs in people clothes you can’t help but giggle! Am I right? They had lots of beautiful and fun details but I think our favorites were the gorgeous array of cakes. Hannah’s sister made all her cakes and they all had a unique flair. You will see in the photos just how talented she is! She even had two cakes that were the image and likeness of their dogs! So well done!
Their first dance was one of the best I have ever seen! They choreographed it perfectly to their music and it was fantastic! All the heart eye emojis for the dips and lifts! <3<3 The father daughter dance was also choreographed and it too was amazing!
Hannah, you were such an elegant bride! Beautiful!
