The Stockroom | Raleigh NC Wedding | Kelly + Drew

Drew & Kelly met living in the same apartment complex in Greenville, NC. Kelly and her sister just moved from Buffalo, NY and Drew saw her the first day they moved in (he worked as a leasing agent at the front office). He was determined to get a date and it didn’t take them long to fall for each other! They have been together 5 and a half years 🙂

 We asked Kelly what was one thing they both loved about each other and she said, “Their love and support for each another.” That doesn’t surprise me, just looking at them you feel all that love and support!

 When we asked Kelly how Drew proposed, she gave us all the juicy details! Kelly said, “Drew threw me a surprise graduation party! Since my family was in town, he made it the perfect opportunity to gather all of our family and friends at Bond Brother’s Brewery event space (our spot) and surprise me with what I thought was just a graduation party. He then sent my dad & I on a brewery tour in the back – when I returned there was a chair in the middle of the room waiting for me. Drew put together a slideshow with videos from friends and family from back home who couldn’t make it and then it became a slideshow about Drew & I and all the times we shared. He then got down on one knee and I said yes! Needless to say, it then turned into an Engagement Party!”

Kelly and Drew selected their wedding venue because they wanted an inside venue and somewhere close to downtown so out of town guests could really enjoy Raleigh like they do! The Stockroom is beautiful with the exposed brick and they didn’t feel like it needed a ton of extra detail because of it’s natural beauty. We couldn’t agree more! Kelly is very simple, but like things clean and precise so you can see a lot of simple elegance in their decor. And obviously, they couldn’t pass up the beautiful Glass Box! The light in the room is dreamy!!
